St Augustine Duck Race Rules
- Rent a duck for the race ($5 each)
- Your name will be assigned a duck number
- Ducks will be dropped from boats into the ocean
- Ducks will swim towards the shore
- Prizes will be awarded to the first 10 ducks that swim to shore, first duck wins first prize, and so on. Ties will be determined by coin toss.
- Ducks must not be touched prior to coming to rest on the sand
- Only event staff will determine and collect winning ducks
- Participants may help collect ducks after winners are determined
- In the event of inclement weather, winners will be determined by drawing
- All ducks must be returned to the duck race committee
